Round 2: Bonsai

I think hobbies are such wonderful things, and my husband Jon is so multi-talented! He has such a love of nature, gardening, and just beautifying with nature. I posted here about the last bonsai Jon made on his own, well, its been a busy weekend. Here are two more he has created!


We went Bonsai shopping for this one to give to Mike, Jon's dad. Jon made this for him, and Sunday we were able to give it to him. He loved it. I think the best part for Jon was knowing it was something he had designed for his Dad.

After giving the bonsai to his dad, his dad offered us this beautiful rock (plus a few others) and Jon right away knew what he wanted to do. He came home & made this master piece. I have such an amazing husband.

    WOW! Jon really has transformed this from an interest to an art - I am so impressed. I never would've thought that cool rock would have so much potential as a modern-style pot! Go Jon! Talented landscaper, green-thumber, and gift giver!
