So my blog has somewhat taken the place of my journal. Now, don't get me wrong there are some things that will never be seen the eyes of close friends or family (let alone the internet world) so my journal has not been entirely replaced. However, I felt the need to get a paper copy of my blog posts. SO I began working on some books at HeritageMakers and here is what I have labored to make:
Blog Book 1
Blog Book 2
Only after I had finished my second book did Brit tell me there is a site that INSTANTLY makes your blog into book form. All you have to do is select what dates to put in the book. Urgh... o well whats a girl to do?
I don't know about what site she sent you to but I use blurb.com. I like it a ton better than Heritagemakers (mostly cause its WAY cheaper to get the book actually printed). I'm pretty sure it will do most of the work for you with a blog but I haven't used it for that... I did a book of all my mom's pie recipes and stuff and am starting a baby book on there. Thought I would let you know! Love you blog btw... its one of my favs.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the suggestion! I work for Heritage Makers so its pretty cheap for me to buy books there :) But I will DEFINITELY keep that site in mind for next time!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for reading my blog, seriously means a lot to me!
Your books look AMAZING!!! Even though the words are too small to read in the preview it was so fun to go through and see all of the pictures and memories made. I am currently using Blog2Print but I've also heard good things about blurb.com. The thing about yours though... it is exactly how you want it! And it is SO much more personalized than either of the click and print sites. You have the creative genius to make using Heritage Makers the perfect option for you!! I'm glad you didn't know about the other sites before because then you may have possibly been swayed to print something that would clearly be less Savanna-esque (a.k.a. beautiful) than will soon be brought up to your desk! Love the books. Can't wait to look through them in person.
